When Anna Angela (Lena) Peracchio was born on April 2, 1889, in Saluzzo, Cuneo, Italy, her father, Carlo, was 26, and her mother, Carolina, was 22. She married Flavio Alessandro (Alex) Marchisa on August 29, 1907, in Manhattan, New York. They had three children during their marriage. She died on April 21, 1973, in Manchester, Connecticut, at the age of 84.
