When Rebecca Linda Karp was born on July 30, 1948, in Stamford, Connecticut, her father, William, was 29, and her mother, Gertrude, was 30. She married Thomas Alexander Marchisa on December 17, 1972, in Schenectady, New York. They had one child during their marriage. She died on May 30, 2012, in La Jolla, California, at the age of 63.
